thuong.studio ("we", "us", or "our") operates VocaType ("the Service"), a web-based typing tutor application. We are committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
VocaType is designed with privacy in mind. We do not:
•Require account creation or login
•Collect personal information such as your name, email address, or location
•Track your typing content or keystrokes
•Use cookies for advertising or user tracking
•Share any data with third parties for marketing purposes
3. Analytics (Mixpanel)
We use Mixpanel, a third-party product analytics service, to understand how the application is used and to improve the learning experience. Mixpanel collects:
•Usage events such as lessons started, drills completed, and settings changed
•Performance data such as typing speed and accuracy scores
•Session recordings to help us understand how users interact with the application
•Device and browser information (browser type, operating system, screen size)
•A randomly generated anonymous identifier (not linked to your real identity)

4. Data Stored on Your Device
All your learning data is stored locally on your device using browser storage (localStorage). This includes:
•Learning progress and spaced repetition data
•Typing statistics (words per minute, accuracy)
•Application settings and preferences
This learning data never leaves your device. We cannot access, recover, or restore it. Clearing your browser data will permanently delete all your progress.
5. Error Reporting (Sentry)
We use Sentry, a third-party error monitoring service, to help us identify and fix technical issues. When an error occurs, Sentry may automatically collect:
•Error messages and stack traces
•Browser type and version, operating system
•Page URL where the error occurred
•General device information
This data is used solely for debugging and improving the Service. It does not include your typing content, learning progress, or any personally identifiable information. Sentry's privacy policy can be found at sentry.io/privacy.
6. Service Worker and Offline Access
VocaType uses a service worker to enable offline access. The service worker caches application assets (code, images, audio) on your device so the app works without an internet connection. No personal data is transmitted during this process.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service uses the following third-party services:
•Mixpanel — product analytics and session recording (see Section 3)
•Sentry — error monitoring (see Section 5)
•Vercel — hosting and content delivery
These services may collect standard web server logs (IP address, request timestamps, browser information) as part of their normal operations. We do not control or have access to this data. Please refer to their respective privacy policies for details.
8. Children's Privacy
VocaType is a general-purpose educational tool and is not specifically directed at children under the age of 13. Since we do not collect personal information, we do not knowingly collect data from children.
9. Your Rights
Your learning data is stored locally on your device and you have full control over it at all times. You can delete all local data by clearing your browser storage.
For analytics data collected by Mixpanel, you may request deletion by contacting us at support@thuong.studio. We will process your request in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
